GFW Hunter's Helper Reference Guide - Vanilla World of Warcraft Addon
Gazmik Fizzwidget (GFW) Hunter's Helper is an incredibly useful addon for the Hunter class in Vanilla World of Warcraft. It makes it much easier to get the tameable abilities for your pet. It has a database of all the pet skills and which beasts you can learn them from. It displays the tameable abilities of a beast in the tooltip as well as letting you search for where to obtain a specific skill.

World of Warcraft: Classic Compatibility
GFW Hunter's Helper is not compatible with World of Warcraft: Classic and, unfortunately, there isn't a replacement.

Installing
Extract the downloaded file and drag the GFW_HuntersHelper folder into the Interface/AddOns folder in your World of Warcraft game folder.
How to Use
There is basically nothing to configure, it just works in the background. When you mouseover a beast, the tooltip will display any tameable abilities it has. They will be colored grey if you have already learned them and green if you still need them.
To search for a particular pet skill, use the /hh find command. For instance, to search for the Claw Rank 7 skill:
/hh find claw 7
Claw 7 requires pet level 48.
Claw is learnable by: Bear, Carrion Bird, Cat, Crab, Owl, Raptor, Scorpid.
Claw 7 can be learned from:
Felwood: Angerclaw Mauler (49-50), Ironbeak Hunter (50-51), Olm the Wise (52 rare), Mongress (50 rare)
Feralas: Ironfur Patriarch (48-49)
Winterspring: Shardtooth Bear (53-54), Winterspring Owl (54-56)
Western Plaguelands: Diseased Grizzly (55-56)
It shows you everything you need to know to get the skill. It even colors levels that are above your own.
